Night Mode

Blue light from your computer screen can make it more difficult to calm down and sleep at night. Turn on the Night Mode to reduce contrast and blue light and make your screen a little more warm and yellow.

Turn Night Mode on or off

The Night Mode button toggles night mode on and off.

  1. Open the MorphicBar
  2. Click the button called “Night”

When Night Mode is turned on, the colors of the screen should shift and look somewhat more warm or yellow.

When Night Mode is turned off, the colors of the screen should return to the standard with brighter whites.

Customize on a Windows PC

You can customize Night Light settings in Windows.

Change how yellow it gets

  1. Right-click the “Night” button on the MorphicBar.
  2. Click “Settings” from the menu.

In the settings, there is a slider that controls the strength or color temperature of the display at night.

Click and drag the slider to the color you want and then let go of the mouse.

Make it automatic
You can schedule Night Light to turn on and off automatically.

  1. Right-click the “Night” button on the MorphicBar.
  2. Click “Settings” from the menu.
  3. Turn on “Schedule night light”
  4. Select if you want night light on from sunset to sunrise or hours that you can specify.

You can customize Night Shift settings on a Mac computer.

Change how yellow it gets

  1. Right-click the “Night” button on the MorphicBar.
  2. Click “Settings” from the menu.

In the settings, there is a slider that controls the color temperature (how warm the screen looks).

Click and drag the slider to the color you want and then let go of the mouse.

Make it automatic

You can schedule Night Shift to turn on and off automatically.

  1. Right-click the “Night” button on the MorphicBar.
  2. Click “Settings” from the menu.
  3. Select a Schedule option to create a custom schedule or have it turn on from sunset to sunrise.
